To be eligible to earn an AMCA certification, candidates must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.

To be eligible to test for their MCBC exam, candidates must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent or are in pursuit of one and have completed an AMCA-approved certification program or have at least 1 year of supervised work experience in the field immediately preceding the date of the exam.
